I was lucky to get 4 or 5 days of really nice weather last week so I was able to get the last minute winter preparations done. This included stacking the last of the wood, raking, washing/waxing the truck and the scenic daily walks with Cleo.
I wish pictures could capture (and share) smell… Fresh air mixed with decaying leaves and pine tree…mmmmm! It smells like halloween.
I’m messing around with different jquery galleries so they can be viewed on an ipad. I can’t seem to find the right one, but this is the most recent test. You can click on the large image to move the next pic or mouseover the thumbnails to navigate the gallery.

- 4 cords of wood delivered in July.

- Moved and stacked. It was my ‘gym’…go out and move wood around for an hour or two a few times a week. I had some wood from the 2009 delivery to move around too. Good workout – WAY better than a gym.

- Washed and waxed the old truck too.

- Where the wood used to be. A little dead grass that’ll come back next year. Some soft spots in the ground and lots of bark and shards of wood that Cleo would love to eat.
